Brain Games for Elderly Dogs?

Morning,
So my incredible handsome old man, has really started to struggle over the last few days. We accept he won't be with us for much longer. He is bright and 'with it' when in contact with us, but easily gets disorientated and confused when not being fussed or hugged or kissed or molly coddled because he's our first and oldest dog
I am a veterinary nurse, so know very well what is going on, and he has been and is still under continuous veterinary care.
My question is, do you have any brain games with positive reviews? Such as the snuffle mats, new kongs etc? Im looking for something to try and keep his brain engaged while his body has slowed down. I just want something that is recommended and not what Amazon tells me 'other people have bought'. Grin
Thank You!

I have a snuffle mat and a Kong wobbler.

Youngest botch loves both, oldest took a bit of time to get her head around the wobbler and the boy just shoves his gob over the top of the wobbler and carries it around.

Have a look at these two FB groups:

Canine Enrichment

Beyond the Bowl

They're both absolutely packed with great ideas, reviews for puzzle toys and all sorts.
