Morning all thought I'd start a thread for sneaky dogs caught in the act! I know mine has a knack for opening doors and going upstairs to get on my bed (yes Lola I know because I can see your hairs!) but as soon as she hears the key in the door she sprints downstairs and onto her bed like oh hi your home iv not moved all day. Today I was still upstairs getting dressed while dp and ds left for school next minute I hear footsteps.

I don't have pics but mine sneakily grabs my slippers and then runs off to nibble them out of sight. If I can't hear or see him he is up to no good Grin

That is so sweet! clever dog! Mine does what Bitey's does, he sneaks into the bathroom when you're having a shower and sneaks off with any discarded clothes on the floor. He seems to prefer dirty underwear .... Shock

My dog once ate the whole of a highchair seat whilst I was upstairs washing the baby - he'd made a right mess eating his tea ( was only 18months) and crumbs/ bits of food were all over the seat so I pulled out the baby to sort him first, came back downstairs to no seat left on the high chair😳😳

Oh yes, mine has a dirty knickers fetish, and ultra-cheesey socks!

We had had her about 2 weeks (adopted) and were eating pancakes at the table. I was reaching for a glass of water when this big head appeared, delicately bit a corner of my pancake and slid it off the plate into her mouth! Looking straight into my eyes, cute litte teeth. I just stared at her in disbelief while my brain was a whirr of 'wtf? conyo say something ffs'!

It's been 6 months, 5yo ds still loves telling the pancake story Grin

Mine keeps slinking onto the playmat. He won't go near it when DS is on it but he sort of shuffles around near it, checking I'm not nearby (he's blind so is physically checking by sniffing and bumping his nose on nearby chairs). He then cases the wider area, still slinking and shuffling, then returns to the playmat for a final "coast is clear" check before ever so slowly edging onto it bum first Grin I only have to make the slightest noise and he leaps up like there's a rocket up his arse. I can't blame him really, it's a lovely soft plush one from mamas and papas that a very kind auntie bought for us.

MrsJayy yes he's a genius until it's pissing down and he decides he is Lost In The Garden and I have to go out in my PJs to rescue him Hmm.

I was working from home a few days ago, and SpareDog was pottering around as is her wont

I realised I hadn't seen her for a while, so went upstairs.

Have you ever seen a more guilty face? And, she had rooted around on the nicely made bed to make it isn't a snuggly nest AND taken her manky toy with her

loving these sneaky doggies. My first dog was partial to underwear and once got my bra stuck round his neck he then escaped out the garden and into a neighbours who was having an extension so cue lots of builders laughing and me saying oh god the neighbours dog has got out again. I was only 18 so embarrassed Blush

Sleighthound secretly wants to be the baby...

I've found her squashed into the cot before too. Her legs were hanging over the side so she didn't have time to jump out & look innocent.

Sleighhound could have been separated at birth from Fliphound - they look like twins.

She's only just joined us and has had 2 victoria sponges and a tin of mackerel off the side already. She's sneaky and we're stupid. Still, it's all a learning experience!

Sorry, that should read Sleighthound not Sleighhound - although that could be fun too - make a change from huskies.

No Photo, but boydog is a thief. He rifles through my handbag if I leave it unattended and pinches the things that take his fancy. Yesterday it was a packet of coconut chips 🙄 but he'll take what he can find.

He was a street dog though, so I can't blame him for his bad habits.

Our remote has tape all over it. Because this little 💩 steals it all the time and chews it apart!

"I haven't seen the remote mum, honest"

My devious Staffy lives to steal DPs shoes. Preferably as soon as he has taken them off so they are still warm. He doesn't chew them. He just likes to collect them.
You find him sat amongst his treasures looking like butter wouldn't melt.
