Best dry food for small dog with no teeth?!

So we've recently inherited a Yorkie after DH's grandad passed away. We took him to the vets and he's had to have all of his teeth out (combination of poor diet and no dental care). He's just finishing the bag of Royal Canin biscuits for small neutered dogs (we had him castrated when she took all his teeth out) and seems to be managing ok on them but it's quite a pricey food. Our lab is on Tesco own brand but they don't seem to do a small dog version and obviously the kibble has to be small enough that he can swallow it whole. Thanks :)

You could moisten it with boiling water & mash it up & give it to him when it was cool,
We did that for our elderly greyhound,when she had most of her teeth removed.
