Canine Papilloma Virus

So I think Ddog (18mo) has Canine Papilloma Virus. Noticed a wart on his mouth this morning. It's not bothering him, and he doesn't mind it being touched (usually he's sensitive about scratches or injuries). I'll keep him away from other dogs until it clears up but I mistakenly googled (wish I hadn't!) and came across pictures of dogs with rather obscene amounts of these warts all over their mouths. Ddogs won't become like this will it? Has anyone else experienced this with their dogs? Did it take long to clear up?

Take him to the vet!!! No-one can diagnose him over the internet...
