Hello.
We have a lovely little rescue dog that we got from an RSPCA centre. At the time we bought her a lead from the centre which we really liked, I didn't realise how much I liked this lead until I managed to lose it in a big country park and am now making do with a back up one...!
I assumed it would be easy to replace it, but I have been googling and just can't seem to find one. The lead was black and white rope cord (colour's not really important- just a bit of a sentimental thing as that's what she has always had with us!). It had a few metal rings spaced out down the length of it and a clip thing on each end- one end clipped onto her collar and the other end clipped onto one of the rings which, depending which you clipped it to, made the lead longer or shorter. I've seen lots of training leads with a clip one end but they all seem to have slip collars, which I don't want for her, or they are flat webbing instead of nice rounded cord.
I don't want to go back to the Rescue place as it's an hour and a half away but I really miss her old lead!
Does this sound familiar to anyone? What should I be searching for?
Thanks.

Have you looked at Ezydog leads? It sounds similar to one we have, a multi function lead.

It's a training lead or occasionally a police style lead.

Hurtta do a rope lead with multiple clips as do Julius K9. :)

Hello Lizzie, thanks for taking time to reply!
I've just had a look at Ezydog leads but I can't see any with the rings woven in like the one we had. I found these on ebay, which is the closest I've seen, but the one we had was smoother and looks like it would be more comfortable to hold than this one.

Can you call the rescue place and buy one over the phone?

Or ask them at least if they know what it's called?

Ahh, thank you so much everyone, you've found it for me!
Think I'm going to order the budget option from ebay that Trionic posted, on bit of a post Christmas budget...!

We use a halti ones - they're on ebay & amazon. Not twisted rope but sounds like the same thing.
