My girl Staffie is 10.6yo and developed pyometra in December. She had an emergency spay and has healed really well despite a couple of post-op complications (she burst her stitches then had a small haemorrhage).
The thing is, she's gone from pooping 1-2 times daily to going 3-4 times. We feed her the same as before. She gets the same amount of exercise.
Is this normal? What is going on?
