How to exercise your dogs when you can't walk far

We have two big dogs that are used to 60-90 minutes off lead exercise a day.
I have injured my foot, and am awaiting a GPs appointment but I suspect I am in for at least weeks, maybe months, of not being able to do very much.
I can limp between benches if I go somewhere that has seating scattered around and throw a ball for a bit, so they are still getting out and about for an hour.
I do have a dog walker in once a week, but at £15 a walk I can't afford this 7 days a week.
Has anyone got any bright ideas?

There's a big open dog walking area I often go to where I sometimes see people on mobility scooters "walking" their dogs.
The scooters can be hired, so would this be a possibility for you?

Is there somewhere you can drive and let them run off lead whilst you sit down?

I do drive to woods etc. I'm not quite ready for a mobility scooter yet but the idea is tempting!
I've been doing agility with them too which I guess I'm going to have to stop for a bit.

Will they fetch? You could get one of those launchers to throw a ball a long way from sitting on a bench.

They don't really fetch as much as race each other for the ball. I get it back if I'm lucky.
I can't really ask anyone to walk them for free. They are quite high maintenance dogs.
I managed to get them out for an hour today but a lot of the time they were standing and sniffing, not running full tilt as per usual; they are just going to have to get used to being a little less fit.

If you aren't able to walk them as much, then the best way to tire them out is with training and games at home. Also puzzle feeders and things like that can get their brains working and tire them out a bit. Maybe if you can't pay a dog walker everyday, then you could just get them in for an extra day or two, just so you know they won't have to go more than 2 or 3 days without a good run.

Do you have "dog friends" by this I mean people you meet regularly and walk your dogs together? Could you drive to the woods meet them and let them walk your dogs?

I really wouldn't mind doing this for a friend, I've got to walk my dog anyway so what's another one?

I'm a bit antisocial and like to walk my dogs by myself. I do know people to say hi to and stop to chat to, but I make sure I walk the dogs in a different place every day so don't get to walk with anyone in particular. The only people I do sometimes meet and walk for a bit with with are dog walkers.
Training puzzles and games are a good idea. It's difficult as they always want to be where the other one is when training is going on, but I can shut doors etc.

Some friends have had good experiences with the 'Borrow My Doggy' website - there is a joining fee I think, but then you can get some local people to walk them for free for a bit, and you can put your injured foot up!

When I was very pregnant I played fetch with the dog. He is now very good at it! When pregnant the second time I arranged play dates with another mother who also had a dog. The DC would play inside and the dogs outside!
