7 week old puppy snapping at other puppies

Hi

We have a new puppy and a 2 year old dog. Our puppy and our dog love each other after just 3 days. Get on like a house on fire, play fight, lay with each other etc.

However my mum and sister both got new puppies (7weeks old) from a different breeder and our puppy has snapped at both of theirs. When I held my puppy next to my mums there was nothing aggressive coming out of her. No growl, bark or heighted heart rate.

Not sure what to do?

We are taking puppy and dog to my mums for Christmas and boxing day to mingle (will be there whole days) but other than this not sure how best to deal with this.

Any ideas welcome.

All the puppies are female and our older dog is male.

At first my dpup was like this with my father's and sisters pups who were litter mates but we let them play and if one of them snapped at another told them no, now a year old and they are all the best of friends.
So persevere and just supervise them together, they will have their arguments but I'm sure like mine they will get along and become friends.

If the puppy was still with its litter it would be 'biting' it's siblings. Its called bite inhibition. 7 weeks is too young to be removed from litter
