Oh she is so beautiful. Gorgeous soft and silky fur, melting brown eyes and a divine white tip to her tail.

She smells amazing and brought so much life and joy into our home.

When H left, I remember thinking "At least I can get a dog now" so I did.

She's happy, I'm happy, DC happy. I love her Smile.

Oh I keep trying and failing! Will ask more computer savvy friend to show me again.

She makes us all so happy.

I take her out for walks and bore well-meaning folk who stop to stroke her with tales of her exploits Smile. Mostly they smile, nod and move away Smile.

My dog Lucky died when I was 13 and I am now 45. I've been waiting a long time but my girl is just

The closest I am going to get is having my DB's little dog coming to stay. He has stayed for a weekend when DB and SIL had to go somewhere from Fri till Sun (DH was away though) and I loved it. I loved taking him out for walks and the little old dears in the village stopping to talk to him.

He is coming to stay in May half term for a whole week whilst DB and SIL go away and I cannot wait. I get really soppy and gushy over him, so I know how you feel Grin.

I have told DB he is only welcome to come and see me if he brings the dog Grin.

DH just doesn't "do" animals Sad.

I remember your posts where you decided to get a dog (big dog really did work wonders)
I'm glad it's worked out as well as it has
Keep working at that picture, we would love to see

Delilah is a collie/spaniel cross with the softest fur of black and white and she is just heaven. I find myself holding her and marvelling at the perfection of her ears she is not my third child.

BellaVita I could have collected 20 cats and H would not have batted an eyelid but he would not give in over a dog.

I'm in love Smile

Also realise I must stop endlessly talking about her. That's not so easy.

Aw, you do sound totally besotted Grin - 'tis lovely!

I am Envy as we have a huge dog-shaped hole in our lives, but cannot have one just yet - life needs to settle down a bit and DS4 needs to be less of a psychopathic toddler before I can consider getting a dog. But it's haaaaaard….

You enjoy and give her a cuddle for me Smile
