My dog did something very adorable today- sensitive soul

Just wanted to share this story as I think it is very cute.
My 2 and a half year old working cocker gos to a Dogsitter for a couple of days a week. One of the other dogs has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and the owners are distraught. The owner was at the dog sitters and started crying as he described the chemo process. My lovely little dog sat on the guys lap and licked his tears away. It made me weep a bit when they told me. He also cries when our baby daughter gets really upset. Such a softy. Does anyone else have dogs with emotional intelligence?

We had a cavalier like that. Would always go up to people when they were crying to comfort them and used to bark at my dad when he was being vile to my Mum.

Spaniels of all varieties are wonderful dogs!
