Diagnose my pooch - too hot or does she know I'm pregnant?

My dog has been acting a bit funny the last couple of days and I'm a teensy bit concerned.

She is a collie x lab x retriever but behaviourally is most like a collie. She's not eating properly and keeps taking herself off to lie in separate rooms from me. This is odd because Normally she is clamped to my side at all times and can't bear to be apart from humans if there is one in the house.

I can only think of 2 things that might be a problem. 1) it's been very warm up here and she has a thick coat and gets overheated very easily. Or 2) I'm 9 months pregnant (due tomorrow). She was funny when I first got pregnant but has been fine for months about it. Do dogs change their behaviour if labour is imminent? Does anyone else have experience of their dog behaving funny in the final weeks of pregnancy? I'm actually kind of hoping this is the reason as it means I might finally be able to meet my baby soon if this is the case.

Will be interesting to find out which. My collie bitch knew every time my sister in law was pregnant, she was glued to her and all bothered around her and wore her maternal face (same one as when she'd had pups). Sis in law didnt live with us so dont know if she'd have changed closer to time.
