Ooops.

Ooops is all I have to say on the matter.

Blush

T'will be fine. It's only for a wee while.

When I said we can only fit three dogs into the house, I never mentioned bitches, did I? I said dogs. Ergo, we still have space for two more dogs Grin

How hard can four be compared to three anyway? Hmm

Was it the favourite breed thread what did it?
As I hold it fully responsible for the fact I pick up my Irish setter pup tomorrow. :)

I thought you'd already realised that one of your dogs was in fact a cat.

Some of them are quite little too right? that Devil dog, he's a terrier isn't he, they're well known for being tiny, and Whippety things are very skinny, if you turned it sideways there's hardly any dog at all.

Altogether they can't be taking up as much space as a big dog. So four small mostly dog like things is about the same as one big dogue de Bordeau (apologies for my terrible spelling!)

You know, looking at it like that you've only got one big dog equivalent. I think you've got room for some more.....

Seasons happened. Two young bitches came into season, the week after an a complete male came into the rescue. So until seasons have finished or vets can be booked they need to be separated, but I already have one short term foster in.

Thanks Dooin, I'll need it, it's been eight years since I did the puppy stage and to be honest I never had a minutes bother with my GSD as a puppy, she practically trained herself and never chewed any furniture or anything.
I don't think any dog can be as good a puppy as her.

Although Terradog is in disgrace today, I had 2lb of diced steak defrosting on a high shelf, the cat must have got up there and knocked it to the floor, where they both shared a feast.

Well he is here. He is, um, not very small. I think he uses two dog spaces, even for a large breed dog he is large Grin

Savage dog is not happy.

Devil Dog is over joyed, oddly, he's normally sniffed and decided since he can't eat it, he'll ignore it by now, but he seems quite friendly today Hmm

Terra, the puppy will be fine, you'll manage. You'll have fun. Honest Grin

Aw, he's gorgeous. What happened to his shoulder?

He was attacked in his kennel by the other dogs Sad

He has scars all down his side. His owner didn't want to pay out for vets so took him to the track to be destroyed by the track vet Sad

He was lucky. The vet didn't turn up that a day but a friend the rescue did. They patched him and gave him to us where he safe Smile

Even after going through all of that he is still perfect with other dogs and people.

He's the only complete dog I have. T'others are all spayed or neutered. That's why he is here. He was in foster with two complete bitches, one was booked in to be spayed this week, but surprised everyone with a very early season and t'other came into season pretty much as soon as she arrived.

He's moved here to keep him away from them, so there's no chance of any litters Grin

He is very big but is proving to be a gentle giant. He met my nephew today, who is normally scared of dogs but Fudge's calmness put him at ease and they walked along side by side in the end Smile
