Suddenly terrified of going on his bed.

For the past week my Border collie (1.5 years old) has been completely terrified of going on his bed.

He's always had the same bed and I've checked it over for anything that could have fallen in that's making him uncomfortable. I've also moved the bed to other areas to see if it was the area he didn't like, but he still cowers away and stays close to us when we tell him to go on it. He will cry all night until we let him in with us.

I've tried to make him feel positive about it by going back to basics and giving him the command to go on his bed and rewarding him with a treat when he does, but he wont stay on it for long.

Anyone experienced similar or have any ideas?
