We picked up our new puppy last night
He is adorable, and really small
He is a crossbreed and was born with no tail
Have never owned a small dog before
My silly spaniel is not the least bit bothered by him but my collie hates him as expected!
It's not the best weather for dashing out whenever he looks like he might wee, and since he's so small it's hard to tell if he has done a wee or if it's just a bit of spaniel slobber!!

Am expecting some fraught days ahead until my grumpy collie accepts him
I shall put a pic on my profile

Oh enjoy it!

I recommend a torch by the back door to shine between his legs at night to see if he's going!

He's doing fine
Tries to play with my spaniel but my spaniel just looks at him Grin
My collie still hates him!

He is a jack Russell x shih tzu, but his parents were rescues so no guarantee of what they actually are!

The cats are not sure whether to eat him or play with him!

Just seen your post. Any dog crossed with a shitzu is bound to be so cute. Ahh, such a shame none of your other dogs or cats want to play him, so you will have to do it.!! Pups in a litter are always playing with each other. If he has inherited the character of the Shitzu, he should be quite laid back. If the Jack russell, then he'll be very lively like all terriers are. Or he may be inbetween.
Good luck with him, he sounds gorgeous.
