It's interesting. They are an extremely strict family (obviously) but in a way I quite admire them. I am intrigued to see how they manage these two. How much of this playing up is for the camera though?

i watched one a couple of weeks ago and i jjust wanted to adopted one of the teens on the spot her mum was a cow and her behaviour was totally reasonable (although unacceptable) due to who she treated them.

It will be interesting to see how they change

The mum is so calm! I don't watch this but I am assuming there will be a turning point/event?

The British teens really need help. The sad part is that they think it's sad that the Mormon kids don't get to do sex and drugs.

The teens changed amazingly in only 10 days of being cared for by the Utah family - wow.

Next week's looks like being good... Israeli parents.

sometimes all teens need to see is that there is more to life and that it is doable.

I really liked the family. A bit too extreme in places but a really nice family.

looking forward to next week too.

If they can do it in 10 days why can't I do it when I live with my dd?

She's not that bad though, I hasten to add.

I like this programme and think that it should become a scheme for many youths in this country. Though saying that, me and my two sisters all went through our 'drinking phases' aged 14/15-18 and turned out well enough

I would like to see a follow-up though! Know if they stayed in touch, how it affects them now, how they act now, etc. I enjoyed the first (?) ep where the boy and girl went to Africa

I love it, brings me back to the days of my childhood, strict West Indian parents, where every Saturday my sister and I would have to clean the house and Sunday was Church without fail. Shame it's no longer like that.

The idea of answering my parents back or swearing at them would be completely alien and unheard of at that time. I'm not condoning this but the fear of Dad wielding his belt or slipper (but never using it) was deterrent enough.
