I thought this would be an appropriate forum for TV-related stuff.

We are moving house and have the option to get rid of Sky+. Do I want to do this and get Freeview or will I regret it? Does anyone have any good combos other that Sky +.

The new house does not have a satellite dish so I will need to pay to get that installed. Freeview would be much cheaper but we have been with Sky for quite some time.

What oh what should I do?

oh it depends what you watch, free view doesn't have sky 1 e.t.c or living so if you watch anything on those channels your out of luck.

can you get a decent Freeview reception in the new house? (ask around there is also a postcode thingumy on their website) are the channels you like/watch most available on freeview?

Keep Sky + - I'm addicted to it....

Sorry I know that's no help.

My MIL has freeview and it's okay. Do you currently have lots of extra bits like sports and movies etc? We did also find the package deal quite competitive - phone, broadband, tv

sky+ is great, I wouldn't give it up

freeview around here is terrible (SW) and if there is any hint of rain, you may as well switch the telly off
