did anybody else think the final episode was disappointing?

There's only been the pilot and then one series so far, I think. Unless they've already showed series 2 and it snuck completely under my radar, which seems unlikely as I've been awaiting it eagerly for months.

It won't be the same without Herrick. He was my main motivation for watching, and the guy who played him was totally convincing IMO.

Series 2 is to be aired this autumn, as far as I'm aware.

I'm looking forwrad to the possibility of some baby werewolves.

Oh I really liked the ending. I thought it was very good. And I liked how it finished with George's girlfriend being scratched too. I would imagine there will be lots of emotional turmoil when season 2 starts!

The series that has just been on is a repeat of the first series. No schedule for series 2 yet but they are definitely making one!

Very much in lust with Aiden Turner - YUM

I would really like to know the secret she whispered in her killer's ear and why it turned him into a trembling wreck.

I wonder if it will be revealed in the next series.

On the whole I don't fancy Irish men, but I make an exception for Aidan Turner.

All three of the main characters are very strong actors, I bet they won't be available for another series for long. Hopefully there will be another series made before they all scatter for fabulous careers in film and theater.

Bran - me too. Normally I find the accent really off-putting but there is something really horny about AT

For me, it's because I'm Irish that I don't go for Irish men, I prefer someone more exotic or different (I'm married to a Malaysian). I guess being a vampire would qualify as different though.

Oops sorry. I find the way you (as in the irish generally, rather than just you) say 'any' really strange though.

I loved the program too and the idea of baby werewolves is great!

I love Being Human sooooo much. Such a top TV series, the Beeb really outdid themselves on this one, which was lucky after the all the hyperbole surrounding the truly abysmal Gavin and Stacey!

Aidan Turner..... I wonder if we could convince MNHQ to get him in for a webchat.

Any? Any, any, any. I can't actually hear the difference between my "any" and an English one. I'm not offended though, not everyone finds ever accent attractive. I'm strangely drawn to a soft Belfast accent, but lots of people find it painful to listen to.

When I first moved to the UK I found some of the phrasing so odd that it actually sounded ungrammatical to me. The way people say "it's not" for instance, in Dublin people say "it isn't".

LOL at Aidan Turner coming for a chat on MN. Does he even have kids?

PolarBear74 · 24/09/2009 09:55

Does it matter whether he has kids or not?

Report
bran · 24/09/2009 12:38

Well, usually people come for a chat here because they have something to say to a group of parents. Sometimes they come because they want to flog a book or some other promotion.

In AT's case, is not so much a case of whether we want him here or not, more why on earth would he want to come and willingly subject himself to suggestive comments from the likes of us. He's young, handsome and talented, and collectively we tend to sound like the old ladies from the Harry Enfield sketch in the presence of such attractiveness.
