Eastenders is a bit gruesome for before the watershed tonight, no?

How grim is that!

Drug taking and having a rake go in your throat... lovely for before 8pm viewing, not.

I thought that!
Was pretty rank.

I agree. We turned over towwards the end, flciking through channels. and 7y DD was in the room and saw the end bit. I quickly sent her upstairs to clean her teeth and turned over. I don't think she saw anything too much, but definitely way too much for before 8pm.

Mine were in bed, but I thought it was too much tbh.

Mind you, there was Zammo on Grange Hill and his smack..........

I thought that, and I had no little people in the room

I've just watched it on my own on the catch up and I thought it was too grim for a soap. Mind you, that Trina deserved it.

Lucas is a slimeball though.

I missed a couple of weeks, why is Amira calling Zanab, Auntie Jee?

I'm not sure - is it a future-MIL name?

EE is banned in our house. I honestly don't see how anyone can let their children watch it.

Auntie Zee maybe? Masood calls her Zee... Otherwise don't know. Im too fixated on that girl's silly Terry Wogan parting to listen to what she's saying

I thought it was a bit dodgy too, not liking that story line. Don't think it is well done or well acted.

I am liking the Masood and Zainab family storyline though. I think they are both great in EE.

you know amira, where is she living?

Report
PuppyMonkey · 04/09/2009 11:34

Is she still living with Janine? No, that bloke lives there now doesn't he... Whitney's brother. Eeeek, I don't know..

Death by garden rake... brilliant.

mira is living in the flat that Dawn, Summer, Jace and Jay lived in before Jace got killed (i think)

I think that a large proportion of Eastenders is unsuitable pre-watershed but I'm aware that I can be a bit old-fashioned in my viewing opinions .

Oh is that what happened? I missed that bit, I only saw Trina holding her neck and trying to ring Denise. Even tried to watch it again today but missed it (again)

I still don't like my DD watching it and try to avoid it. She's almost 14!

My 8 year old has asked to sit and watch i with me but I won't let him.

Mine all go to bed usually at 7 anyway so aren't normally around unless they come down for a drink or a cuddle.

was a bit grim but to be fair very unrealistic. If she cut an artery which she must have done- blood would have been spraying everywhere at high velicity. So they must have toned it down for pre watershed!

I thought it was quite outrageously gross tbh. I wouldn't let my eldest (7yo) watch EE, as there is lots of sex & violence. I'm not usually all "disgusted of Tunbridge Wells", but it really bothers me that the watershed is ignored.
Did anyone catch it this afternoon? Was it toned down for Sunday daytime viewing?

I think she calls her Auntieji, which I assumed (and I don't watch all the time) was because Zainab is a friend of her family and so she would call her Auntie; ji is a mark of respect.

sorry bit behind as was on holiday - been watching ee on sky+ all day
