oh me too. I was a total GG virgin and watched the whole lot in 6 months. I miss it sooooo much already [saddo alert]!!! I have kept the last ep on the sky plus, can't delete it yet.

The last ep was good wasn't it. I was in floods watching the scene of Lorilai beside the bed when Rori was sleeping , was shocked that Logan didn't come back and loved the end scene of them in the diner.

Have starting watching Everwood, which has replaced it, but it's just not the same.

Have nt heard of everwood is it on in the day time?
i missed some of the last series this summer, did lorili marry divorce rory dad?
I just loved that it was upbeat but not totally soppy, well a bit!!
I think it was good that logan did not come back as she got to be the independant journalist and the way the grandmother kept making excuses so that lorili will have to go on friday nites.....
I miss it

Yeah Everwood is on in the daytime - same sort of times as GG.

Yes Lor married Chris, he was in it for a while then then they split.

God Everwood is no replacement for the ladies of Stars Hollow!!

I've loved GG for years and watched it all the way through this time on E4 (gotta love maternity leave .

It's so damn funny and engaging. I'm wishing that dd and I will be just like Lorelai and Rory when she's older!

I love GG and miss it - was gutted that Rory and Logan split but bootygirl is right its good she went off to do her own thing! I have to admit to having a bit of a thing about Logan though!

I was thinking this morning that I was really missing my GG every day.

I'm over wishing DD was like Rory though. She turned out to be quite a goer and I didn't like that she slept with Dean when he was still married. AND she took relationship advice from Lorelai who was CLEARLY head over heels with Luke and just not even capable of sorting it.

I'm sure they wouldn't be married in RL if this series had continued. She had self confidence issues, perhaps established by lack of parental affection, which caused her to self destruct her relationships...

OMG...Note to self. GET A LIFE!!!

BTW I preferred Jessie, the dropout nephew of Luke to Logan. Logan was just too perfect for me. No man should be that perfect.

Hello from a first time Mumsnetter! Just joined as I've discovered I'm pregnant with number 2 (number 1 is a 2year old) and panicking more than slightly at the prospect of having a baby while looking after a toddler, but that's less of an issue of what they heck I have to look forward to every day now that Gilmore Girls has finished!! I'll never be able to motivate myself to do the ironing again!! Haven't sunk to trying One Tree Hill yet but presume it's only a matter of time. Am now deep in daydreams of having a little girl with whom to forge a Lorelei / Rory type closeness....!

I love it, and miss it loads too.

Have a massive thing for the guy who played Logan, and have reconciled myself to this by finding out the actor is older than me, so I am not a filthy pervert as I originally thought.

Have actually considered investing in the DVDs...

God I hated Logan - he was such a pratt. Much prefered Jess. Im glad she ended up going off alone though, it was much more beleiveable.

Did not really like the logan character as he was too self absorbed. Yeh where did jesse go he was really in love with her....
So miss it as it was just fun and cheerful? does anybody think they re real communities like that? I want to live in stars hollow

very true squilly ... I was fascinated by Logan rather than out and out fancied him .. just not sure why! Luke was more traditionally attractive.

I loved Logan. I was bereft when I finished watching the final episode. Might even start watching the box sets again

I love One Tree Hill too.
