Anyone been watching this? This is the second week that it has been on ITV and am quite enjoying it.

It's not half as good as the US version but is still good. They do drag it out a big though (An hour a day five times a week).

Yes, I think even with good editing, they are struggling to make it dramatic at an hour a day!

They all seem to be crying a lot though eh?

Angie the female trainer seems to harsh to me, i prefer Richard, he seems a lot nicer!

They do seem to cry a lot, i bet i would too working out 6 hours (+) every day! Very hard but hopefully they will get fab results!

So glad I'm not the only loser person watching this.

I was gutted that Lisa went thi week, she really wanted to stay. I think her mam really let her down.

Angie is very scary.

Seems odd that some of them only lost 2 or 3 pounds in the first week as not only do you normally lose quite a bit the first week due to water etc, they are also training for 5 hours a day and have completelyt changed their diets. Though I guess if they have dieted for years their metabolisms may be shot and their bodies just don't respond as well.

This is the first series I have seen and I thought it seemed a bit unfair, as although they do it on percentages, it seems obvious that the men will lose more weight as they have more muscle and therfore a faster metabolism, but then they will also put on more weight in muscle than the women so maybe it evens out.

I'd say next out will be Sadie and Jennifer

hard to tell if i'm honest. She doesn't look as big as she did from what i can remember of her in week 1 but the others all look much slimmer compared to her. Didn't notice the difference in the others till they were stood next to her. katie looks soo much slimmer and Jamie!

i LOVE it!
set my watch, cup of tea, put mumsnet down...

oh just before i do, i knew Kev had lost the most, you could really see it on him. i think mark would have lost loads too. they were both consistently loosing about 8lbs a week.

Jamie potential to lose loads, but i think his health issus in the first weeks, gave him a slow start.

sad to say it, but Sadie did so much better when i mum left.

angie is so scary, but i love watching her! she seems like an excellent trainer, but i dont think i would survive a training session with her!!

they do stretch the programme quite thinly over the hour, it would probably be better over 30mins or 45 mins.

but good on all of them, for being so committed to loosing weight!

Yes, am still watching! It's great. They've all done really well.

I do think the editing on the show is shocking though. They have interviews with the folk that are done after the event, intercut with the scenes they are trying to dramatise, e.g. talking about the weekly challenge while they are showing it and it is plainly obvious from the tone of their voice and what they are saying who has won?!?

Also yesterday during the weigh in, when they cut to an ad break they showed a little clip from the next part of opne of them walking up to be weighed and you could clearly see the leader board in the background. The editors are either idiots or can't be bothered!

Also, appaling when Kate Garraway explains in a very serious and slow voice what is going on to them. So they will start the elimination vote and the first person will vote for Sadie. she will turn to Sadie and say "So now Sadie you have 1 vote" !!!

Anyway, it's still compulsive viewing and can't wait to see how they all look tomorrow!

Sadie! She did a great job. She voted for Jamie and admitted it was cause she knew it would split the vote and hopefully get her into the final. She was right. Carol and Jamie voted for Katie and Katie voted for Jamie. Kevin had the casting vote as the week's biggest loser and he voted for Sadie.
