Has just been another prog too profiling his life, with a few funny clips from "Clue".
(but I got engrossed and couldn't find the energy to go upstairs and post on the computer.)

He really was a star wasn't he

So annoyed that I don't get BBC4. Hope they show it on BBC1 or 2 at some point.

It was well worth a watch.

I think he was a true gentleman,an exceptional musician, and fabulous comedian.

I found it very interesting.I had no idea he was educated at Eton, and was a Grenadier Guard.I knew of his music but only really knew of him from listening to the wonderful ISIHAC.I really hope that they don't ressurect it with a new Chair. No one can fill his shoes, really.

I must've missed those episodes!!!Was it at the start of the programmes??Maybe I am a bit of a ISIHAC newbie as I didn't start listening until I had the dcs about 4 years ago. Before that I did varied shifts so couldn't plan for regular r4 listening!

I often came to ISIHAC some way into the programme and was in and out the kitchen whilst struggling with toddler and screaming baby during dinnertime !!

Usually at the point they were doing "Songs to the Tune of" which always made me chuckle.

Rob Brydon CAN actually sing pretty tunefully can't he?They were showing clips of them taking the michael at Jeremy Hardy and his dreadful singing on the programme.
