He isn't her dad, they are doing an abuse storyline. I found it a bit uncomfortable tonight TBH.

No, Whitneys dad died, I think he has been abusing her though

Bianca says that he is the littlest's dad but he is obviously not.

I know they are doing an abuse story line with the girls in the pub ronnie and roxy aren't they - they would't do it with 2 families at the same time though would they?

just seen it on sky+. oh dear

isnt she like 15/16 max?

yes, I felt very uncomfortable watching this tonight

I believe that Whitney is not even Bianca's daughter, she is her stepdaughter from a previous relationship

she is meant to be 15

I don't need to see a 35 yr old male initiating sex with a 15 yr old on telly at 8pm

No nor do I. I was conteplating not watching it for a while. It's hardly the 'chewing gum for the eyes' I need of a Friday night.

um, masalachameleon

sex with a minor is abuse not a fling, categorically not, triply when that person is in a position of power such as stepdad

I think its good, historcally these themes have helped kids escape abuse and raise awareness

Yes I know what you are saying Peachy and I always defend the realism of Eastenders compared to the nothingness of Corrie but...even so...

I was under the impression that he became the Bianca's saviour because she was left alone with Liam (Ricky's) and Whitney and Tiffany (after their dad died) then she found out she was pregnant with the baby.
It is supposed to be that he is using Bianca to get to Whitney who he has been grooming for a while.
Whitney thinks they are having an affair but he had been grooming her, Whitney supposedly thinks they are going to run of together when she is 16.
I heard that Bianca finds out and shoots him goes ballastic

I felt a bit sick watching this storyline last night. As soon as the Tony character came in I said to dp "Oh no, he's been abusing Whitney." Dp "What? Eh? Why are you saying that?" Cue smug but sad feeling a few minutes later and "How did you work that out?"

It's been building a bit for a couple of weeks with Bianca making comments about Whitney not having a boyfriend and apparently Tony went to prison for assaulting someone who'd "come on a bit strong" to Whitney.

I think it's a very good storyline and so far it seem well done but I agree that it's a bit much for 8pm as was the gun storyline too imo.
