Hugh Grant on Graham Norton

I always find myself wikipediaing his guests, and found out that Hugh had a daughter with woman 1, a son with woman 2, then another son with woman 1, followed by another daughter with woman 2, and both women were pregnant at the same time with both sons. So he went from having no children to four within a very short space...with two women. And now he’s not with either of them. I wonder if they all hang out together?
I still find him very likeable though.

If an actress had done similar she'd be struggling for work.

Battleax, I don’t think that’s true. Does anyone care about what film actors get up to in private? Hasn’t Kate Winslet has a varied love life & yet it hasn’t impacted her Work prospects.

Hugh Grant isn’t angling for a job as the local vicar (well, except in Sense and Sensibility), so who he impregnates doesn’t affect on whether or not I enjoy his film performances.

An actress would struggle to be pregnant twice at the same time Grin

Yeah an actress would struggle! A) as mentioned she couldn’t be pregnant twice at the same time but b) if she was pregnant consecutively, multiple times it’s not entirely workable to be in tons of films too. That is just a fact, no matter what feminist twaddle you wrap it up in.

I find him very good value as a talk show guest, witty, self-deprecating, and engaging with the others on the sofa.
I could have done without Sarah Millican as I find her vulgar and deeply unfunny but seeing Khal Drogo again made up for it! 🐉

Agree with all pp. Millican: boobs,, divorce, genitals. Cats? No, it was dog this time. Yawn. Same old, same old. Thought Jason was looking a bit odd, puffy or something. I'd kept my mate up purely to see his beauty so he was a bit Confused.
Like Hugh. What's this Hacked Off thing?

Jason's been out drinking every day with Emilia Clarke, so think that's why he looked a bit puffy faced!

I agree that Hugh is good value as a chat show guest.

Who told Sarah that wearing curtain fabric as an outfit on a prime time TV show would be a good idea?

That dress looks so much better in navy than burgundy!

Hugh has been campaigning against hacking by the press @Carouselfish

He was hacked a few years ago and led a campaign against it for the general public people (who don't have money to fight the press) who find themselves at the centre of a media frenzy cos their child is murdered or their family are killed in tragic unusual accident

They are then all over the papers and their lives are made even worse by papers hacking their mobiles or voicemail accounts like the family of the missing school girl who found the messages had been listened to and that the messaging service went from full to having space on and so hoped she was alive but it was the press hacking the messages

Very cruel of them

Anyway, he is fronting a campaign for general public who find themselves in this sort of situation

He says he was/is hacked but it is his choice to be in public eye, in films and on TV etc but it isn't these families choice

I think it is great thing he has been and is doing for them

Kate Winslet had some nasty "3x3" comments in the tabloids but as pp have said her career hasn't suffered.

It was probably a continuity issue but did anyone else notice that Jason Momoa was periodically double-parked with a second drink?!

I thought he was hilarious! Very good.

Brave too because it's meant some of the press have been gunning for him. Daily Fail have been particularly vicious. He would've known it was going to happen.
