Loved it when I was young but now....So much is wrong with it when watching it now I’m older.

Why did Danny almost force himself on Sandy at the drive through? Why did Danny only fancy Sandy when she changed who she was and pretended to smoke? Why are all the students about 25? Why was it ok that Vince Vontain was leching all over Marty even though she was a student and he was a grown man?

I love the songs whilst not being all that keen on the film itself! I think the basic premise of "you ought to change for a boy/man" is a pretty shit one, and Danny always comes across as a bit of an idiot. It also irks me that the casual bullying of the nerd/geek character is pretty much treated as a joke.

Did Channel 5 show it uncut on Sunday? I seem to recall that the last time it was on ITV in an early slot they edited out a lot of the more risqué moments, including all of Look At Me, I'm Sandra Dee!
