I no longer have access to MTV on my reduced Virgin Media package, but I have watched it from the beginning and love it. Totally agree about Max and what about the time when Nev got so wound up that he threw a Catfish's iPhone in a river?

Catfish is on nowtv. Worth signing up for one of their free trials and binge watching it!
Nev can sometimes be too "American" and trying to understand the Catfish's motivations and tragic past - whereas Max is more "fuck this shit, what you playing at?"

Yes, Max seems very level headed and I note that he is a friend of Nev's older brother, who appeared in the Catfish film, so maybe those two years make a difference? Yes, some of it is definitely too American to understand the background of the various stories.

I also read online that the houses on the show aren't their real houses they're houses rented out for the show. Have always wondering why they're so sparse! Apparently if you look closely the walls are always a similar colour coz they repaint them and a few of the artwork gets reused!

We love Catfish in this house. It's amazing how so often the catfisher is a person the same sex as their catfish, when they were expecting the opposite!
