Just saw an advert for this, looks interesting and I'm craving British drama at the moment. Anyone else planning to watch?

Just finished it. Two brilliant actresses and a great drama. Also I really didn't see that ending coming! I'm also quite interested as I'm having some issues with a colleague at work. I was quite interested in the advice the lead character's husband was giving her.

Coffee - I enjoyed it; good cast, but yet again, couldn't warm to the main character (Ellen?) Is she just feeling ousted and in the grip of pregnancy hormones, or does Paula have an evil plan, or just over-enthusiastic?

At the end, why didn't her boss just let Ellen in? Wasn't she on the ground floor, originally? And wasn't Ellen barred from the site? Hmmm .... that fall made me spill my tea though!

I was the opposite of Ellen when I was pregnant with ds1. I couldn't wait to quit work! However I do understand her feelings as a woman with a thriving career not to want things to change. Paula's continual harping on about how things will change is really irritatingl. Also it's possible that having been depressed when her dm died, that she is struggling with the idea of being a mother.

I'm looking forward to the next episode. I thought it was weird too about the roof. The fall made me squawk!

I'm also on ML and couldn't wait to leave. I'm obviously not as career driven Grin.

Will toddle over to the other thread

I'm really annoyed having watched the last episode. Utter bilge. What husband chooses to believe a stranger over their wife. No questions asked no talking about things just weird accusations and avoiding the issue.
