Any new Scandi dramas on soon?

I'm really missing my Saturday night fixes of Scandi drama on BBC4. Especially of the ilk of The Killing, The Bridge, Borgen.

Does anyone know if there are any other Scandi dramas coming soon?

I feel the same-we're watching the killing again on sky box sets at the moment but really hoping something good is coming up.

Oh, I really hoped that someone was going to say a new series of something great is coming on in the lead up to Christmas Sad

No new scandi crime drama that i know of, but have you watched 30 degrees in February? Available to download on demand off Sky Arts - the second series is on weekly atm. It's really good - Swedish drama following the lives of a number of Swedes who've gone to thailand for different reasons. We really enjoyed it.

We are watching an Icelandic series on Amazon Prime called Trapped which is really good.

Trapped was excellent.

Yes I saw trapped (which I also enjoyed).

I haven't seen 30 degrees but have seen the trailers. I'll give it a go. Except I was hoping for a bit of a thriller

Watching this thread with interest ... (I, too, loved Trapped).

Have they announced what will be on next week on BBC4?

Have you watched Jordskott? It has a supernatural twist, but all the elements of good Scandi drama - I really enjoyed it.

We finished season three of the killing an hour ago and feeling bereft. Sadly Grabol has said that's it, no season four. Haven't seen Trapped though so maybe that will fill the void.

I also recommend the dragon tattoo trilogy and Wallender, (danish versions).

Next week is another Australian show called Deep Water. I saw a trailer for another Scandinavian drama called Modus - Krister Henrikkson from Wallander was in it- but it was 'coming soon' ie no date as yet

I'm waiting too.

Me & DH have watched that many we were practically speaking Swedish !

Really enjoyed Angelby & Jordskott. They are both quirky dramas but DH & I very much enjoyed them.

agree with poster up thread. 30 Degrees in February is fab. Have just watched the first episode, although did see the whole last season, and it is great.

I do like a good scandi series in the winter and can now practically speak Swedish. The 2 Swedish mums at school are particularly impressed Confused

Occupied (on Netflix) is very good.

Rita on Netflix. Danish.

Much more like Nurse Jackie or The Big C than The Killing, Bridge etc, but very watchable (and rude).

Loved 30 Degrees. Glad to hear it's back, must catch the second series. Can also recommend Angelby which is Swedish too, a bit Twin Peaks-y or Wayward Pines-y.

Watch Hinterland, series 2 has just started on S4C so it'll probably be on BBC 4 after Christmas.
It's set in Aberystwyth and in Welsh and English. The cinematography is stunning, the acting is brooding and the plots are not especially obvious.

We have already had two series of Hinterland. OH and I are currently watching recordings of Beck. It is excellent.
