I meant to watch it and forgot it was Thursday! Will watch a repeat - looks as though it'll be in the news tomorrow.

Yes me!

John McDonnell is a wolf in sheeps clothing for sure!

Yep, it's a corker.

I don't, but then I'm allergic to Tory MP's, but she's not taking any shit.

It was brilliant. Loved Anna Soubrey coming straight out and saying John McDonnell is a very nasty piece of work. And loved watching Alistair Campbell trying not to fall out with JM - and failing miserably!

But then I hate JM so my kind of programme!

It was very good

wtf was JM talking about losing 5 million voters. Showed him to be the horrible arrogant (likes to talk over women) nasty person he is and how deluded some of the new labour supporters are thinking labour will win an election under his and JC leadership

JC is real because he doesn't wear an expensive suit Hmm maybe he is really a russian peasant as he also wears a lenin cap

Hi, I've just registered and am horrrfied to see a witch hunt on John McDonnell as the first thing I read. I am astounded that this forum is being used to smear political figures, not everyone has the same views and I would have thought a bit of respect to others would be exercised on 'Mumsnet'. What proof can you provide that shows JM is a nasty peice of work? EVERYONE says that Jeremy Corbyn is a good and principled man, what on EARTH would he be doing hanging out with a nasty peice of work for 30 years? please ignite brain before upsetting others who are also very principled!!!

Hahahahah

You can tell you're new here indijomo

How about you, not joining a forum and telling everyone who dares to have their own opinion to shut upHmm

And EVERYONE hasn't said JC is a "good and principles man". He comes across as an arrogant, naive, idiot to me who is well out of his depth.

Thanks for reeducation instructions. Shall ignite brain forthwith!

Great watch. Can't abide the arrogant Scottish MPs as a whole, empty vessels and all that, O'Donnell has badness shining out of him (Alistair Campbell and Anna Soubry nailed him as being a nasty piece of work), it wouldn't be a shock to find he's behind the bullying campaign, Quentin Letts is from the Daily Mail so nothing else to be said about him, just in my opinion of course!
So yes, great to watch! 😀

As a former Labour type i found it compelling but in a horrible way. (I may have turned to alcohol as a temporary crutch..)

I am stepping back from watching and reading about Labour though, last night was just a relapse on my journey.

I'm de-registering, there are poltical forums for this sort of ignorant abusive smearing. This isn't the place, I thought Mumsnet had more respect and decorum, my mistake, maybe the whole country has turned 'nasty'. BYE

'He comes across as an arrogant, naive, idiot to me who is well out of his depth.'

I haven't seen this episode of QT yet but he's always come across this way to me. His Little Red Book stunt during last Autumn's budget was proper head-in-hands cringe. He behaves like some crackpot student who hasn't got a clue. Very unsurprised by the comments upthread about him talking over women as well

Wow indijomo.

I feel disrespected and so does my journey.

I shall retire to my safe space forthwith!

It's the perverse way of looking at things that infuriates me. It's not US breaking up the party it's all the MPs refusing to be in the shadow cabinet (the 'everyone's mad but me mentality). And holding up the number of party members as a measure of success. Who's to say how many of these new members are either extreme left and hell bent on their own agendas or like me, life long Labour supporters who've only joined recently in the hope of helping to oust Corbyn and Mcdonnel?

^ this. I don't bloody well think JC is that. He strikes me as a passive bully, who let's others around him bully people who don't agree. His responses regarding anti-antisemitism, women, the economy, trade and business are woefully inadequate. I wouldn't trust him or John MaccieD any further than I could throw them.
