But, imo, just became a pastiche of itself.

I needed something after finishing House of Cards. I have found it.

He is chock full of charisma (so far, anyway)

I loved Dexter. The first 4 seasons were the best ones.

The good thing about discovering him it late is that you can binge watch instead of having to wait for the next episode to be on TV.

Yes, the first two seasons were great, but then it slowly lost the plot. By season 7 or whatever it was at the end, it was really WTAF? Started dark and thought provoking, ended ridiculous and comic. Same as Weeds.

Dexter season 1 is one of my all time favourites. Fantastic all the way through to the end.
Gave up at season 3 though, got bored, although i've been told the season with John Lithgow in was good.

Dexter is amazing! He's a superb character and although some would say it has one of the worst season endings in history (season 8), I loved watching it. I loved season 4 when John Lithgow turns up. Best baddie ever!!

You may already know this but whilst filming Dexter the character who plays dexter (sorry I'm rubbish with names) was married in real life to the actress who plays his sister. He also fought cancer.

Mmm this shows how into him I was when I was watching it but sadly his name has now escaped me

I loved Dexter. Watched it at the time, and I think it's due a rewatch now.

And yes I fancied the pants off him too.
