I watch alot occasionally and today is the first time I have seen everyone go out! Is this a new thing?

I always thought they only aired the programme if at least 1 person went through - this has thrown me! Grin

So, was there just some thumb twiddling at the end instead of the final chase? Never heard of this either!

Apparently they have all just been brought back onto the set and they had to nominate someone to answer questions just like they would normally do. Now the chaser is just up against the nominator. Nominator got 13 questions right. If she beats chaser then all the team win some money!

Who knew! So how did they decide how much money could be won? This is important Grin
I love quiz shows and so enjoy the Chase. But I live in Australia so don't get the English version. They've brought out some of the English chasers, but not Bradley :(

I'm not 100% sure as DD started talking to me and I missed that bit, but I think that the nominated person was playing for £4000 for the team. It really took me by surprise as I've never seen it happen before - unless its a new rule so to speak!

I saw it happen on a celebrity chase once, Jimmy Carr was on it and the chap who plays David in Corrie, no one got through and Jimmy Carr had to answer questions at the end to win money for charity, I think that was four thousand as well, they didn't win.

I have watched the Chase for years, this has happened before, the nominated person plays for the team and £1000 each, but only if they beat the chaser

It happens quite often, we are regular chase watchers.

I'm not sure how I have not seen it before - tend to watch it most evenings whilst I'm cooking dinner. I honestly thought they just didn't air the programme if all 4 of the team went out!

You learn something new everyday! Smile

The American Chase is the best. I love the presenter.

Off to google - is it with the English chasers or are they American?

It's just Mark "The Beast" Labbett and the host is Brooke Burns. There's really great repartee between them. The candidates are much more clever, too, so it's more competitive.
