On BBC Alba. Gaelic with English subtitles (and proverbs, Gaelic doesn't seem to do proverbs!). Caught this by accident channel surfing and now watching on iplayer. An excellent antidote to Christmas excess. A relentlessly cheerful lad's attempt to make a go of crofting at the family farm in the north of Lewis. Love it, makes me realise I don't want to live in a portacabin in lewis beautiful as the scenery is. He'll have the women queuing up though. I love an optimistic man.

Have you seen his blog, Air an lot ?
He is also co presenter in the Gaelic version of One Man and his Dog. Talented chap.

Yes, I'm linked to it through facebook. Trying to get one of his calendars takes forever though. I suspect he may be one of these guys who's good at ideas but can get bored with the follow through. He's done a great job there though. Love his family.
