No you're not alone, there's 4 of us here with no idea.

I've missed the last couple of weeks but was completely baffled by the episode I last saw. It seemed to involve sandmen. I think.

The plots are too complicated for my sleep deprived brain!

We gave up on it

Ha, you should have watched last week. And read The Trial by Kafka. And The Unconsoled by Ishiguro. It's supposed to be confusing. But the ending kind of makes it clear. Ish.

I'm about to give up completely. Which I'm sad about as I love it normally, but this series has been awful.

Disappointing. I prefer each episode to be entertaining even if you've not watched it for a while.
Bring back Dr Who as a programme kids and adults trying to watch TV and do other stuff can understand.
I don't want to feel I'm wading through treacle with Saturday night TV.
The Doctor kills/ escapes from the nasty monsters. The end.

I gave up on it during Matt Smith.

Yawn. I do wonder

I loved the Christopher Eccleston series. No funny stuff or referring back to things that happened 10 episodes ago or pseudoscience or the meaning of life. Just a story. Dr Who for the masses not obsessive fans who've watched all episodes 10 times.

I want to understand but I just haven't the energy at this time on a Saturday night!

Can anyone enlighten us. Particularly about tonight's conundrum?

Matt Smith ruined the Doc for us. I had high hopes for Capaldi, but the best actor in the world can't do anything with the drivel that the writers are churning out

No you aren't alone OP. I can't watch it anymore. It's just too complicated and confusing. I have absolutely no idea what is going on.

I thought tonight's was one of the better this series but still a little confusing. Thing is, I think PC is great but the writing is poor.
Anyway, the dial at the end was supposedly his last will and testament but I guess someone else from Gallifrey made it.

The doctor being a hybrid is fucking ridiculous

^^ this quite frankly i think the writers can piss off now

It's perfectly easy to understand.

I thought tonight's episode was brilliant. Ds3 & I worked out what he was doing at exactly the same moment. We both went Shock in the same second.

The Doctor Who movie (Paul McGann) established that the Doctor is half-human... Stupid & annoying, but it is canon.

Novels/comics aren't canon, though.
