Anyone else think this? Shit song, can't hear what he's saying, he has big baggy tracksuit on yet the song requires three young women in bikinis and high heels to dance round him and gyrate at him while he ignores them.

Just yuck.

So turn over? Many people like his music. I dont particularly like it, but its Friday night telly and he seems pleasant enough on the couch.

I DID think this. Why the three girls in sparkly underwear? Jessica Hynes must be so embarrassed! Snoop Dogg can't sing either

Not bothered one way or another on the song, but everything else, YES - totally agree with you.

Revolting.

I thought it was odd. Girls in their pants looked weirdly incongruous alongside Graham. Also, he wasn't in tune.

Right, yeah, Afro, thanks. Had just watched clooney, et al. and had enjoyed them. Snoop came on next ... And so I posted. No need for it in a postmodern world.

Ha, maybe they're meant to detract from his crap singing!

Had it on but missed it all as too busy posting on another thread - that'll teach me!

It's just depressing. Has nothing changed since the 1970s and Pam's People? Women as sexual objects / pornography. On prime time TV. I think Graham was embarrassed.

I like Snoop Dog Lion Rasta? but really, it's just part of all that misogynistic (sp?) cultural crap isn't it...?

Report
CocktailQueen · 22/05/2015 23:41

And so he should have been! It reminded me of the 1970s. Eurgh.

It was cringe. And poor Jessica Hynes.

Loved George and Hugh earlier.

Indeed cocktail, but Snoop is the least of your worries. Its everywhere and continues to invade popular culture. There was a programme on a few nights ago about high class escorts...that was much more revolting I can assure you!

I wasn't too bothered by Snoop Dog, I expect him to try to appeal to the lowest common denominator. What did raise my eyebrows was the close up shots of the dancers' arises. 1970's indeed.

Yes they were really zooming in weren't they. Im sure by order of the producers....

I enjoyed the show tonight although I don't like the split format.

It might be everywhere Confused but I don't want to see it on the BBC. I don't want to see it anywhere obv but certainly not the BBC. We used to call Pans Peopke Doris and the Dogs Blush and my parents scorned them for all the right reasons, even in the 70s!

I watched it and found it laughably depressing. He can't sing, I mean why do it if you actually can't sing? Stick to the studio. Plus the women looked sooo fed up! Usually wearing those sort of outfits comes with forced glee and general love making to the camera but these women just looked like they wanted to leave asap (and who can blame them) the overall effect was just sad.

He just walked away from the dancers at the end, I thought he could have acknowledged them in some way. The dancing reminded me of Da Ali G Show. Which at least was a parody.

The dancers just made him look deeply inadequate tbh.

AfroPuff -I totally agree with you.
My telly has something known as a remote control and I know how to use it. So switch over. If you don't like Snoop dog or his music- why torture yourself ?.

Kasalina that's a lazy pov. In this day and age that crap is just outdated. It simply shouldn't be on mainstream chat shows, there's no place for it.

I don't want to have to switch channels when soft porny music comes on. I want to watch TV without soft porny music coming on at all.
