Has there been any official conformation of Clara leaving? I mean from Stephen moffett, Peter Capaldi Or Jenna herself? Because all the interviews and statements I've seen are things like, "my future well I'm not telling you" or Peter saying " I don't even know if she lasts the series" what Peter after you've just filmed an entire series with her. How amazing of course you know, and oh look there was Clara last night, in the tardis!
She's also left at least twice this series, and we know last nights good bye meant very little as she's in the cast list for the Christmas episode.


That said, there's been a element of the doctor thinking he's going to be alone soon all series, asking Perkins to stay, his comment to Osgood last night, "all of time and space ... Something to add to the bucket list" but then all of that was because Clara had Danny and the doctor knew Danny would finally win the battle for Clara's attentions. Now Danny is definitely dead!

That's what I thought mrsjayy i hadn't seen anything from the bbc, or the people that actually work on the show.

All the press stories seem very flimsy, there just seemed to be some presumption that Jenna was leaving, presumably because David and Catherine Tate left at the same time. But it the original series companions did used to over lap.

Also I'm very weary of press stories about who's leavung and who's arriving, as when Tennett had that failed regeneration in to the hand my friend an I were told " don't be stupid everybody knows Tennett's leaving and regenrating in to Ewan mcGregor". Funnily David did another 2 series and Matt smith didn't realky look any thing like Ewan McGregor!

Having watched the Q&A from Leicester Square on the first episode, I'd be surprised if either Jenna or Peter were in any hurry to go any where.

Oh it does mrsjayy and that's all my friend an I were doing at the time, as there was speculation wether David would leave as Billie had just left. It was the everything the press says must be true and the are you really that stupid tone.

I just wanted to clarify there was any basis for stories of Jenna leaving as there appeared to be even less actual firm proof, than there was then.


If it is just fans speculating then yes it's all fun and part of the intrigue of the show.
