I think it was said that they've gone on holiday to celebrate getting back together. I'm almost certain that in episode 1 Stella received a postcard saying that they would be away longer than expected

They seem to have culled quite a few characters. I'm not a fan of Auntie Brenda and don't like the amount of show time she is getting now. But I do like the new next door neighbour and his level of grumpiness. Poor Luke, I wish he could catch a break.

Totally agree about Auntie Brenda. I'm not sure on the new characters, it's kind of lost it's humorous community spirit. And no sign of any rugby in any of these 3 episodes so far!

Have you noticed how tight Luke's shirts are? I'm all for a bit of eye candy and do appreciate a muscular physique, but come on, the boy looks like he is in pain in those shirts!

Love this programme. Not keen on auntie Brenda's daughter or the relative of the family running the shop. But love auntie Brenda. And keep sniggering over the petty fights Stella's new neighbour gets in with his ex wife's new boyfriend. This week they fought over a mug. But my favourite characters are the funeral directors, the triple barrelled names make me laugh and I can still remember when the younger gay one (name?) waxed daddy's eyebrows

Karl's got a job in the Middle East but he and Nadine are still together.

I quite like the shop owner's niece. I liked the banana splitting when Stella and Michael were arguing over it.

Yes the Michael Jackson characters petty rages are excellent and I also love little Alan and big Alan.

I don't like aunty Brenda's daughter either, not sure if she's really welsh but her accent is shocking!
Love anty Brenda though, she's the best character, along with daddy

I'm finding this series rather flat and a bit dull. Missing Rob hugely but also lots of the other 'regulars' and don't much like the new characters. So disappointing when you are looking forward to a new series of one of your favourite programmes.

I'm not enjoying this series as much. I really miss Paula and her husband . They were so funny,

I'm still watching but DH has completely switched off from it whereas before it was one of the few programs we could enjoy together. He used to laugh out loud at it but not during this series.

I can't help feeling that this will be the last series.
