dd muttered darkly that it was far more realistic than I realised

I just saw that for the first time ever. I laughed. dd said it was scarily accurate :(

I found it again by accident ! I miss the other characters too though as they were all brilliant.

I've introduced my 17 year old DD to it & she loves it too. It's funny how you forget he's a man after a while & just accept that he's a teenage girl Grin

Oh, did I miss the new one?

Oh I thought it was a new thing, didn't realise it had been on before. How did I miss that? Wonder if I can catch up with it somehow.

Pixel - she was on the Nominees (also called We could be heroes) and summer heights high. Chris Lilley had also made another series, I think it was called Bad Boys (but I could be wrong) - he has some great characters.
Jonah is getting a series too, later in the year. I think it's being made now.
Love how horrible Ja'mie was to her mum! Genius. And I agree you forget she's a man and not a teenage girl.

Thanks Monopoly, must admit I've never heard of any of those things you mentioned Blush. He makes a very convincing teenage girl that's for sure!

Just watched on catch up. She was as awful as ever. Very funny. VGlad to hear Jonah is getting a series. He was my favourite SHH character.

Oh damn you! I've now discovered Summer Heights High on youtube for the first time and am now watching instead of going to bed. Zombie day tomorrow....

I think it was Angry Boys, not Bad Boys.

Ja'mie is brilliant (in a nightmare way.)

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Series binging on SHH as I type Grin

Have never seen it before, really enjoyed it. As the former pupil of an all girls school it's scarily accurate - even from 30 years ago

I spend my whole time waiting for her to get her comeuppance knowing that she probably won't

Angry Boys was funny too, the family were just so awful, I love Chris Lilley. He actually makes you believe he is every character he plays and you forget he is a 30 something guy.

I spent last night singing "She's a party girl with a ....baaaaad habit" :-)

And here's good news for Jonah fans

I think Chris Lilley is very clever, but the character he has created is so offensive that I actually find it quite hard to watch.

Nerfmother · 22/02/2014 21:28

Dd also verified the accuracy. I love it! So true and awful.
