It is all still wonderfully death and disaster with a very high death rate among the staff.

Lee Mead was in it a couple of years ago, his fall from the A list has been nothing short of precipitous.

blame that nasty Denise woman

Oooh Sparkling, you can play "spot the ex Brookside actors".

Which ones are in it Just? I loved Brookside.

Denise will be furious as he now has a TV role so may become quite famous. Plus people like him.

Colin Jackson's real life sister is in it. She was married in Brookie to Nice Black Man Whose Name Escapes Me (had 2 kids, she was a trollop, kids lived with him....he was mates with Fat Terry who was married to Miserable Sue) Coincidentally (or not) she was married to him again in Casualty, he was a fireman who went off the rails after a disciplinary and then had a stroke and cobbed off with his nurse.

I may live my life vicariously through medical dramas

Doctor Zoe may well have been in Brookie as well, although may be too young. She is very scouse though.

I've seen Barry Grant die a fair few times. And thingy, who got raped by Posh Peter. Diana?

Claire The Gob Sweeney deserves to die in Casualty, but I haven't spotted her yet.

Hah! Just googled and Doctor Zoe was in the 'side from 88-90. Also the woman whose baby drowned while she got saved on her wedding day to lovely Doctor Adam is another Brookie girl.

Oh, I've seen Max and Patricia and Susannah a fair few times as well.

Still being posh and dysfunctional.

Dishy Dr Adams wife was Debbie of Damon n Debbie fame.
Zoe was held hostage in it think she was a student nurse in her Brookie days.
Tess was married to lovely Mick Johnson, and she had abandoned them I think but came into it later.

Mick! That's him. And she was Josie. (been racking aged brains all night)

Sparkling, there is a thread somewhere,( but not as trafficked as the Holby one for some reason.)

Are you on a crusade, Alpha?

Does anyone else quite like the new doctor or is it just me?

AlphaBetaOoda · 21/09/2013 22:12

She's growing on me.

Yes to a crusade. Our Doctors thread is good & I'm trying to get them going for Holby, Waterloo rd & Casualty

Just because - I'm in awe of your Brookie knowledge.

Grin I'm up for a Casualty thread, but have lost touch with Holby unfortunately.

The one who irritates me beyond belief at the mo on Casualty is the OVER-PRONOUNCING nurse. What the feck is it with her diction? She sounds like she's doing some jazz-hands acting course where her teachers will tell her she needs to introduce shade and light into her delivery.
