I have just finished the first half of Breaking Bad series 5. Sad
Also love The walking dead, Game of thrones and Homeland.
Can you wise MNers recommend a good boxset to get obsessed with in to ?
I have heard The fringe is quite good, so will look in to that.

TIA

We like Fringe, just received the final series today.

Other things we've liked are falling skies, bones, castle, firefly and ER are also in our cupboard.

Blush is it Fringe not the fringe Grin I sometimes feel like I have turned in to my Mum, who always used to get things like that wrong much to my embarrassment.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Prison Break, West Wing and The Wire - all excellent!

We've just started watching 'Shameless' Season 1 and I am surprised to discover I love it! I wasn't expecting to.

Thanks, I loved the first few series of Shameless.
We only started watching Breaking bad a few weeks ago, feel a bit disappointed now that we have to wait till August - especially as it ended the way it did. Shock

The wire is a must although you will need to persevere through the first few episodes.
If you like game of thrones I think you will like the borgias and also the Tudors
We are really enjoying the first series of boardwalk empire at the mo although it doesn't get the best reviews

Also, did you watch Homeland Season 2? That is worth watching too.

I have the first Season of Mad Men, but haven't started watching it yet. It has amazing reviews.

Thanks everyone.
I have seen the first few series of true blood and read the first few books. Enjoyed them but changed tv package so forgot all about it. Will have to get in to it again.
Yes loved the second series of Homeland. Can't wait till the third comes out.

Have you got netflix?
If so id go for dexter (only if you can take gory) the tudors or borgia ( the canal plus version rather than the american one) is great.

Thanks.
I love Friends and Frasier, it would be nice to watch more lighthearted funny shows. I sometimes need something fluffy to scrape me off the ceiling if I have been watching something tense.

There'll never be anything funnier than Frasier, for me! Try 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. Entourage,The Big C, might be worth checking out online, before you invest in the sets.
