Sky Atlantic show 2 episodes a night, I fell into it near the end of season two, am now avidly watching, almost finished season 3.

I never really got into it when it originally aired, but I love it now. Anyone else?

God I love House. I was off sick for a bit and got obsessed by it. Was very excited when the very rare thing that I was off sick with, was one of the differentials!

My husband and I are huge house fans. We have the complete collection on DVD and when we watch it we can never stop at just the one.

Gutted its finished but appreciate why.

We watched it on five originally.

It's on at 6pm and 7pm Viva, and they repeat episodes the next day at 2 and 3pm in case you miss one (like I have occasionally :()

The thing I don't get about the whole differential thing, is, real doctors don't do that, do they? Every time I've been, they just know what's up, and send me on my way.

Granted, the most exotic thing I've had has been chicken pox which isn't exactly hard to diagnose...

Back on topic! I LOVE House.
Currently on Season 7 of the box set - seasons 1-6 v v cheap on Amazon/Ebay, season 7 on it's own was half the cost of the 1-6 box set. Soo good.
It really frustrates me that sometimes, I just can't quite tell what they're saying. I'm not deaf, but grr. I wish the earlier seasons came with subtitles too.

I don't think Diagnostics is a 'proper' department in real life, I remember Cuddy/someone saying that the department was created just for House, iirc.

Luuurrrrrve House and Hugh Laurie is surprisingly easy on the eye! We have series 1-5 on disc and watched them all in the space of about 4 months then caught up with it on TV for series 6,7 and 8.

Series 1-3 are definitely the best but there are some stunning episodes in the other series.

I have to say I diagnosed my dad with a rare form of vasculitis after watching House. Dad had been really poorly in hospital for months and the Drs didn't know what it was. So I told them about this rare form of vasculitis.

They agreed with me, treated my dad for it for two years. Turns out he had a rare form of lymphoma and now it's spread too much. Got that fucking wrong!
