I always liked him as an athlete but these days he's turned into a rather yummy man.
I have developed a strange obsession over him- my DH is getting Hmm about it. He's doing the commentary on Channel 4 at the moment (previously on BBC) and not only is he nice to look at he is possibly one of the stylish-est men ever (and this from someone who doesn't normally rate metrosexuality on a man). He's the only guy I can think of who looks sexy in perfectly pressed chinos and a hot pink polo shirt.
Today it's a multicoloured stripe shirt. He's lovely.

Grin He had a really weird stance when he used to run. His back would be rod straight, and he has a long body and short legs,so it looked really comical Grin
It worked though..he was a world champ! Wink

I know he did didn't he?
Which is why his transformation into style icon/sexy man is so puzzling...

I assumed he was gay? Not to say you can't still fancy him....
I can't say I fancy him but I think he's a great bloke and brilliant commentator. They did well to spot his talent as a broadcaster once he stopped running.

..but he's so 'American' though, isn't he? Biased to hell, doesn't like admitting he's wrong, bigs up all US athletes like it's them v The World (I know it is, most of the time!) and I find him belittling and frankly quite pompous.

But I still would..

He's noooooooot!
He's actually very funny and impartial. How is he belittling????

How dare you criticise him! Grin

He is married to a woman, and has a kid, so not gay I assume

Oh, his wife is a lawyer, I think (I did some casual "research" last time he graced our screens)

I was watching him today with an ear to his "Americanishness" and did chuckle at something he said (but can't remember now so pointless stating this)

He came and spoke at a work conference I was at and he was a real arse. pretty boring stuff about Being the Best, but the worst bit was that he came down to the bar where we were all having drinks after dinner (about 300 people) but got really snooty if anyone went up and tried to talk to him (I didn't, in case you are wondering!). Why not go somewhere that is not full of people you have given a presentation to?!

Plus they had to pay his appearance fee (GBP50k from memory), first class flights from the US, accommodation etc even though I'm sure he wouldn't have had only the one speaking engagement.

Rant over...
