They have just played a winter song with Andy, Sid and Justin in....

I wonder if that is this year's winter song or if we'll get the one with the hot air balloon like last year?

I need to get out more. grin

SecretSlattern Sat 27-Nov-10 17:31:29

I liked this one, but prefer the hot air balloon one <saddo>

Mouseface Sat 27-Nov-10 17:46:55

I liked the hot air balloon one too. And I know the bloody dance to it!

I think I had better put 'a life' on this year's Christmas 'would like' list! Do you want one too SecretSlattern? grin

I'm not impressed with the new song, and dh thinks the graphics are crap (IT nerd grin) - please can we have a life too?! grin

I missed it but was it the snowman one? That's been on for a couple of years now.

"winter, winter, here it comes......"

KnittingisbetterthanTherapy Sat 27-Nov-10 18:09:42

It was definitely the hot air balloon one last year cos it was my first winter watching CBeebies grin.

SuePurblybiltByElves Sat 27-Nov-10 18:16:28

yes meg, "its cold outside but its warm in here". To which I answer, no it bloody isn't.

I like the Green Balloon Club one with Jelly and Bill Oddie.

Mouseface Sat 27-Nov-10 19:12:04

I love Jelly and the Green Ballon winter song. grin

knitting - it was my fisrt CBeebies too so by the end of winter, I knew that hot air balloon one off by heart!!!

SuePurblybiltByElves Sat 27-Nov-10 19:13:55

blush it makes me cry.

Mouseface Sat 27-Nov-10 19:23:42

sue - the Jelly song? Me too!!

I get a huge lump in my throat and well up!! Glad I'm not alone. The first time I saw it, it was just me in the lounge, crying.

DH came in thinking there had been a disaster! grin

Mouseface Sat 27-Nov-10 19:24:20

<hopes Sue meant the Jelly winter song> grin

SuePurblybiltByElves Sat 27-Nov-10 19:45:18

Of course the Jelly song grin. I watch in in July on Cbeebies online with DD and have a wee weep. Must Get A Grip.

SecretSlattern Sat 27-Nov-10 19:48:06

Yes to the life.

This will be the third child I have watched CBeebies with...hmm

DD1 was obsessed with Balamory when she was 2. She is now 7 (in Jan) and I amazed myself by remembering ALL the words to ALL the songs blush

KnittingisbetterthanTherapy Sat 27-Nov-10 19:50:33

This one?

wigglesrock Sat 27-Nov-10 20:28:18

I like I wish it would snow from Boogie Beebies blush

SecretSlattern Sat 27-Nov-10 20:30:14

No, see that one is a bit depressing if you ask me. Too slow.

Oh. my. god... This is what my life is like now hmm

Mouseface Sat 27-Nov-10 20:42:48

Boogie Beebies makes me want to do very bad things to the tv. grin

KnittingisbetterthanTherapy Sat 27-Nov-10 20:45:28

Oh, I don't know any other ones - I love that one cos it reminds me of the xmas DS2 was born and DS1 and I used to snuggle up watching tv while trying to stop DS2 from crying blush.

Happy times!

MagnamOfChristmasCheer Sat 27-Nov-10 21:44:42

They played it this morning and I had to keep rewinding it I could not believe how tight Justins Snowmans costume is - gives a whole new meaning to snowballs hmm

<slinks off to try and get a life>

smokinaces Sat 27-Nov-10 21:45:39

I loved last years one with the hot air balloon - DS1 had only just found his feet at 20m and would dance and wave his arm to it.

I miss cbeebies. My children at 2.5 and 4 are now obsessed with Nick Jnr and DVDs such as Coraline and Monster House.

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse Thu 02-Dec-10 10:51:24

Hmm.

Looks like it is the winter song for this year. sad

I thought that they would have one with all of the presenters in though.

Maybe Alex and Katie aren't allowed due to the risk of Alex trying to cop a feel flirting but poor Cerrie's not done anything wrong has she?

I also think this winter song is very Peter Kay's 'Amarillo' video! grin

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse Sat 11-Dec-10 10:08:55

OMG!! They have played the Green Balloon Club Christmas Song!!

I missed it but DH said it came on and DS was 'in a trance' watching it.

I am very sad and easily pleased but I do like this song. blush
