our 15yr old ds, wants to go to a big firework celabration this sat night, we live in a large town and its free 4 all to go,we trust him and his mates just noone else, especially a saturday night and an even bigger event, he states "all his mates go", my gut says no but so cannot decide, i thought if we all went but he met his mates and then met up with us later, mobile kept on etc, please some advise, he goes out with mates sometimes but never night time ,out and about town, and on such a busy night .

I would let him

ensure mobile phone contact and agree a time for him to be home or for you to pick him up

15yo's need some freedom

I think at 15 I would let him. Especially if you know his mates as well.

I would-very soon you have got to let go, so a fireworks evening is a good starting place. He is old enough to get married in less than a year!! (Not that I think marriage at 16 a good idea).
