Paintballing party - HOW much!?!?!?

Thought I'd bite the bullet and finally organise a p/ball party for ds's 15th birthday thinking it would be about £25 each, but it's £32.50 each for 400 balls, £27 or something for 200 balls and the guy said 200 wouldn't be enough. Then there's the burgers to be cooked in a rather manky looking kitchen at about a fiver a head which I know isn't bad.

He wants about 10 friends (originally wanted to invite the whole class ).

Has anyone ever managed to negotiate a discount at one of these places and if so how?

How about this place? www.paintball-discounts.co.uk/cheap-paintball.html

I know its a tournament, but there is the option for "young guns" tournaments. Its a lot cheaper.

ds had it for 13th, with 2 friends and his dad.
they joined with another group.
better pricing that way.

DS has been to a few and the parent has alway paid for 200 balls and put on the invite to bring extra money if more balls are required. That seemed reasonable to me

I did this a few years ago for DS1. There were about 10 of them and it got totally out of hand and came to about £300. In the end we were only filling their guns about half full each time. I couldn't find any discount places cos of their age (they were about 11/12 and not many places took them at this age). Not sure what you do if you only pay for the first 200 if a kid has not got enough money on them though.

the prices do vary quite a lot from place to place so I'd be tempted to check somewhere else to see if they could do a better offer.
