Masturbation in teenage girls

My daughter is 12 years old and has been acting a bit weird as of late. It began by confessions of things she had done like pinching food or going to town with her friend and lying to me about it. It then progressed to her telling me she was having sex feelings?? Had tried masturbation in the shower n various other times. It is like she feels guilty and feels the need to tell me via text graphic details. I’m sure she has anxiety too. She is a sheltered child and never seen me even with a man. She has limited access to internet and is not allowed out to roam the streets. I’m in desperate need of advice as my child looks miserable and I don’t know what to do. Has anyone ever experienced this with their children?
