I just found lots of screwed up paper in my 12 year old boys room containing songs/poems he's written. Quite graphic with lots of swear words and talking about death and god waiting for him etc. is this normal? He's been really different since he started senior school in September last year. Don't rly know wht to do abt it!

Some boys (more usually boys than girls) develop an interest in strange musical genres such as Death Metal, Grind, Power Violence etc.

Perhaps you could ask him about his interest in music.

How is he different now?
