Pre teen and porn

ds is 11. Has a tablet which I thought did not have internet access. Somehow he's enabled it and the most frequently used sites are porn sites, in the main gay porn. What should I say/do?

Explain that he is too young to look at those sites, and de-enable or remove the tablet?

I've done that. He knows he shouldn't. He says everyone does at school and that's how he found out about them. I expected this conversation one day, just not at primary

My DD is the same age, and I've never heard of this happening! I really hope the boys in her class aren't doing this at home.
If you've removed the tablet (or permanently de-enabled it) that should at least help?
I'm not sure how you should talk to him to try to explain how nasty it is - dehumanising people etc, or how adults only it is, or how you should deal with the possibility that he may be gay. I would find some books and/or websites and read up on how to approach it.

thanks dinosaurs. I think they are; from talking to him and them a lot of them play unsuitable games and he says a friend got caught by his mother and tablet banned for a week for porn. ???
Am still trying to get head round it. I moved schools for him in Y5 as he was being bullied in last school. This one he's made loads of friends, but has come home unduly street wise eg he'd talk about bum rape??
Am not sure about gay he says he likes looking at me and women.
