Where does he get money from to buy all of that or do you buy it for him?

The same here again ds13, two bacon rolls, nandos for lunch with friends, and just demolished three chicken fajitas. Plus a donut apparently
He is still as skinny as a rake. Hoped he might fill out as find it hard to buy any trousers to fit. Gone all trendy with coloured chinos but once past age 12 hardly any with adjustable waist

Lovetoski- my boy has the exact opposite problem, he's putting on loads of weight and although he too has gone for a bright red chinos look I'm struggling to find a pair which will fasten around his 35" waist

I worked out how many calories a day my 15yo eats.....4,000!!!

But then he runs to the bus stop at the last minutewhen it's cold, so he doesn't have to wear a coat Hmm

He is also skinny, unlike the OP's....OP who funds this junk food eating? Although my DS eats a huge amount of calories, most of it is food cooked my me (yes, I do seem to live in my kitchen) and he is constantly active when not staring at a screen

My son often has to run to the bus stop, but he usually runs quite slowly and misses the bus Sad

Is he gearing up for a growth spurt? My DS1(16) ate like the Olympic rowing squad at that age still does and packed on a bit of weight. Then he rocked skyward and it all spread out.

DS2 is now 13 and looks to be heading the same way.

I would let him consume the amount of food he wants, but make the junk food an occasional thing.

My son and daughter both tanked food when they went into their growth spurt.

No loaf of bread was safe. I used to eat my way through half a loaf when I got in from school at that age too, and that was before dinner.

I'd be inclined to cut down the fast food too, even subway is a little more healthy.
