Young teenager had minor tresspassing incident with other kids her age, police kicked them out of disused building. Am told is definitely not a criminal issue, but police obliged to file above child concern report. Does anyone have any experience of what this means?

It just means an automatic notification will be sent to the school nurse and children services, with brief description of incident and clearly stating there are no welfare concerns (if there are none). Nothing else will come of it.

The police filed one on my 3 year old once, after I lost her (hiding in a neighbour's garden). They told me it was routine with any missing children cases they deal with. I never heard anything more from it. I think it's just routine - so if social services, etc also have concerns they can put them together to see a pattern of problems. But if it's a one off you'll have no problems.
