how old is she if under 13 maybe fb can delete her account i know its not nice but also a ban form computer except for school work could be good idea,
id have a chat without getting angry and tell her whats happened to other gorls doing this and that you love n worried about her your not trying to stop her grow up but her safety is paramount but id wait till shes in a better frame of mind b4 having the chat as well if you think he may be an adult and is trying to groom your daughter then id contact the police as he could be a paedo

sorry forgot to add bottom left of their homepage is a report/block button but your daughter probably knows how easy it is to reinstate the person as she can go on her account settings and put them back on so you would have to explain to her how dangerous he sounds

sorry i just read after shes 13 id probably go for googling a case of someone getting hurt and scaring her to understand how dangerous it is then, are you sure its not someone from school?maybe you could ask to be on his friends (are you on fb?) my daughters same age ds is older but i know all his/her mates and ive most of the best ones on my fb friends too so i can see what they are all up to iyswim other than totally deleting her account its a difficult one because she will probably just start another one in a different name then you wont be able to see at all. its all down to trust she has to trust you but if you feel shes not trustworthy or adult enough you could put one of those computer locks on to certain sites

yes all of her friends are from her school,or the local boys school, but this one doesnt list any details at all (and he's her friend) and only has a few friends, told her he lives 3 hours away, most of her friends are friends with each other too, this boy is friends with her and one other of her friends (the one who introduced them) who he has also been messaging explicitly

i have to be honest id be worried too in that case because all too mant teens get hooked into sending explicit images on the computer and mobile and oodness knows where they may end up are you sure hes not actually her BF ? i do know one of my DS mates had an account on fb calling himself something completely different as he didnt want his parents to know as he had been punished having fb and msn banned by them so what im saying is maybe this is the reason the person has no details on there or has them blocked so only his two friends can see i can only say you need a girly chat not mum laying the law down as if you do that i think she will rebel more , is there perhaps a relative other than yourself she might tell a younger cousin who will also pass on the info to you maybe?
