My GP8 , fine yesterday breakfast , then noticed yesterday evening she had a huge lump under her chin .
She's one of those lumpy little hogs anyway but the other ones are slow growing and firm . (so likely fatty lumps)
DD said "Can I have a pig to help with my homework"? so I scooped up GP8 and saw she had a huge swelling under her chin(s) .
The speed of it suggests an abscess but I cannot for the life of my see a wound. She eating and poohing happily but of course I'm worried about this interfereing with her breathing . She slept ok, all snuggled on a folded up towel.
So off to the Vets tonight , hopefully have the blighter lanced (if it is an abscess. If it isn't then that's a road I don't think I want to think about wandering down)
Piggie is 4yo.
